Brett Hamilton is an inventor, entrepreneur, and advocate for neighborhood livability. He got his start in Tualatin speaking out for the realignment of Seneca Street to provide safer access to the Tualatin Library, joined the Tualatin Arts Advisory Committee and helped organize a successful multi-year fight against odors from the region’s largest composting operation. Recently he has been working to Save Tualatin Road for the people who live here, and reduce the noise pollution impacts of industrial high-tech land use from encroaching into nearby residential areas. All of Brett’s efforts center on one thing: protecting the right to quiet enjoyment. This fight requires vigilance, advocacy, fundraising, legal skills, problem-solving and the ability to keep a large number of residents informed and organized over a long period of time. Brett is a big fan of public land and enjoys the clean air, tranquility, and dark skies at night found in camping, and thinks we all deserve more of that here at home.
