We are a very active organization.

View our latest Annual Report and see what we have been up to during this past year.

Fulfilling our mission, we:

  • Publish a newsletter with interesting history-related articles and trivia (see prior issues elsewhere on this website)

  • Publish books and videos/CD's about the history of Tualatin and its people including the Atfalati Tribe

  • Work to save endangered historic sites and buildings

  • Present monthly programs featuring interesting speakers

  • Collect, scan and archive photos

  • Maintain a garden of heirloom plants and Oregon native species

  • Sponsor historical, cultural, civic, and environmental classes and workshops

  • Identify heritage buildings around town

  • Maintain a family archive for genealogical research

  • Collect and publish oral histories

  • Hosting local 4th graders for an "experience" with pioneer life

  • Collaborate with Ice Age Floods Institute/Lower Columbia Chapter to interpret how our area was geologically changed over 14,000 years ago

  • Maintain a presence on this website and social media

All of this is supported by volunteers. We welcome all who would like to work on projects like these that preserve and celebrate history.
